AmI 2017 Social Program

Important note: The social program is still tentative and subject to modificactions. In particular, we are considering moving the Friday Evening Social Program to Tuesday as a Pre-conference activity.

The first day of the conference will be an exciting one. A special opening keynote, interesting sessions of selected papers and the presentation of the AmI 2017 Landscape of Activities will provide us with enough to think and to talk about. To ensure that you have the opportunity of socializing and relaxing a bit, we will host a welcome reception at the end of the first day of the conference.

The conference Gala Dinner will take place at the gardens of the Montana Restaurant, weather permitting. Located in a mansion of the nineteenth century, it offers 500 square meters that feature different environments for organizing various activities such as tastings , exhibitions , presentations or any type of event.

The Spanish Gastronomy Academy named Montana “Best Restaurant of the Year 2010”. It has 2 Michelin and 2 CAMPSA Guide recommendations and has been awarded Best Romantic Restaurant in 2013 and 2014.

Dinner will be based on the classical Spanish way of eating small dishes (tapas), which allows diners to taste many different dishes, fosters social interaction, and in the case of Montana, promises to be a nice gastronomic journey.

The central element of this social programe will be a private guided visit to the La Concepción Botanic-Historic Gardens. We will enjoy these fabulous gardens and will dine in an unforgettable setting. But we’re not uncovering all details now… stay tuned cause we still have some surprises for you and we will reveal them little by little before the conference.
