Plane: Frankfurt International is just a 25 minute, direct bus ride away from the conference hotel, and is one of Europe's biggest air travel hubs. At the airport, take the bus line "Airliner" to Darmstadt. You should have no trouble finding plenty of flights to Frankfurt from your area.

Train: Darmstadt central station (Hauptbahnhof) is very accessible from anywhere in Germany's well-connected railway network. The conference hotel is within a two minutes walking distance from the central station.

Car: The national highways A5 and A67 pass Darmstadt: Take exit "Darmstadt Stadtmitte" and you will be in the city centre (and thus the conference hotel) in a few minutes.

Public transport: The Technische Universität Darmstadt can be reached most easily from the stop "Willy Brandt Platz", the Piloty building is just 5 minutes through the Herrengarten as can be seen in the following map. To get to the Willy Brandt Platz from Maritim Conference Hotel use the tram 4 or 5 (directed "Kranichstein") departing from the stop "Berliner Allee" about 3 minutes into town from Maritim Hotel or take the bus K departing from the main station (directed to "TU Lichtwiese"). You can also use most of the other public transport to get to the Luisenplatz that is also in short walking distance of the Technische Universität Darmstadt
